暗闇に泳ぐはコケウツボ
Enchelycore lichenosa にサビウツボ
Gymnothorax thyrsoideus このほかにも大小数多のウツボたちが戯れていた。それも今ではもういない。
僕がサンプリングに行っている間、エアレーションが詰まって、酸欠状態になり、ウツボたちは死に絶えた。
水質悪化にも、高水温にも、長期的飢餓にも耐えうる強靭な魚種。あぁでも、君らは海の魚。酸欠には極端に弱いのだね。ごめんよ、ごめん。もう長期的に家を空ける予定があるうちは君らを飼わないよ。
いつか安定した生活を送れるようになったら、大きな水槽で、たっぷりの水量と豊富なエアーで、君らをまた迎え入れるさ。その時はクーラーも付けてさ。
